History
NK Parts Industries began in 1953 when a family business was created in Japan to distribute Honda motorcycles to dealerships in the Tokyo area. Named Nippon Konpo, the business grew with Honda as it expanded into the automobile industry in the early 1960s.
NK Parts, incorporated in 1987, was Nippon Konpo's first overseas venture, opening first in Sidney, Ohio in May 1988. The Japanese character for “po” serves as the basis of our logo – an image that depicts a mother’s arms embracing a loved one. This reflects our values: We take care of our customers’ products as a mother would care for her children.
NK Parts has grown significantly and continues to expand the quality and scope of its services as a world-class operation in the areas of logistics, warehousing, light sub-assembly, remanufacturing transmissions and light sub-assembly.
